Create Testfile.tps Error

Error: “An error occurred  trying to CREATE TestFile.tps to test your ability to CREATE a file – File Not Found.  An error occurred creating a file in the COGZ application directory.  The COGZ maintenance software application must have rights to create and delete files in this directory.  These rights must be established by you or your administrator (not by COGZ Systems).”  User receives the previous message when opening COGZ Maintenance Software.

Resolution: This is an administrator issue for windows, not for COGZ Maintenance Software.  The user must have full administrative rights within windows, with the ability to create or delete files in the directory.  These rights must be established by the user or their administrator.  COGZ Systems has no control over your network security settings.
