Setting Up Your Server
COGZ Preventive Maintenance Software is a very reliable program. There are some server based programs or settings, however, that can cause COGZ files or database to go missing or be corrupted. Implementing the recommendations below will keep COGZ running smoothly. This will maintain the integrity of your program files and data.
The following will cause file corruption:
1. Opportunistic Locking settings on the server.
2. Anti-Virus (AV) programs. (Microsoft Endpoint, Forefront, Defender and Security Essentials are known to cause problems.)
3. Improper program termination.

*If you have additional Properties/Database Licenses, you will need to be sure you exempt the paths of all your property folders as well.
