Why Do Database Files Get Damaged
It very unusual to have any problems with COGZ Preventive Maintenance Software or Database corruption. Error 1477 and 2172 are caused by improperly “closed” files. Data corruption occurs when data is not properly written to your storage device. Anything that interferes with the write requests to your storage device will cause data corruption!
COGZ makes full use of your hardware and software. Any weaknesses in your system can cause COGZ data errors. These errors are not caused by COGZ and are preventable!
It is important to understand applications such as email or word processing do not put demands on your network like a database application. If there is a weak link in your network, a database application will find it.
If you are experiencing reoccurring data corruption, please contact us to discuss.
